Site Redesign and SEO Implications

I don’t usually do quick posts, but I just read a superb article on the issue of website redesigns and SEO implications. As the author of the article says, “Be afraid. Be very afraid”.

Nothing screws up your site’s hard-earned SEO credit, often years in the making, like a redesign that didn’t take SEO into consideration.

If you’re contemplating a redesign, especially a redesign that touches information architecture (and what redesign doesn’t?) then do yourself a favor and check out the article on site redesign and SEO. You’ll be glad you did.
